2017 July Webinar - FIA Awards 2018: How to write an award winning submission

Now in their 19th year, the FIA Awards for Excellence in Fundraising promote the role of fundraising in improving our society. These coveted awards celebrate best practice, innovation, impact and individual accomplishment across the sector and provide an opportunity for acknowledgement by peers.

Chances are your organisation has delivered an outstanding, successful initiative worthy of the FIA Winner’s Seal – but how do you communicate this to the judges? With the quality of entries increasing year on year, how do you prepare an Awards submission that not only effectively showcases your campaign, but stands out from the rest?

Join a panel of FIA Awards judges and a representative from the 2017 Awards’ winning organisation to discuss what the judges are looking for, what it means to win an individual and an organisational award, and most importantly – how to prepare a winning submission.

Panel:

• Allan Godfrey FFIA – Judge and Chair of the Awards Committee

• Vicki Rasmussen FFIA CFRE – Awards Judge

• Ashlie Marshall EMFIA – 2014 Young Fundraiser of the Year and winner in the 2017 Donor Renewal under $5 million category for VisAbility Guide Dogs WA – Preparing a new generation of Guide Dogs: Creating purposeful opportunity to engage and renew supporters.
