Fall Forum 2017

All registrations are subject to approval and availability. You are not formally registered until you receive an email confirmation from NMS. You may expect to receive this notification within 2-3 business days of registering. 


Your institution must be a member of the NMS Endowment & Foundation community in order to register for the Fall Forum. The annual membership fee of $400 per institution is required. NMS reserves the right to qualify all registrants. Payment must be received from the qualifying institution to validate membership. You will be charged the Membership Fee if your institution is not already a member for 2017. 

You will have the option to pay by check or credit card for registration and membership fees. Hotel reservations must be secured by providing a credit card. Your credit card will not be automatically charged upon submission of your registration as NMS manually processes all payments offline. You will receive a formal email confirmation and payment receipts as soon as your registration is processed. 

Cancellation Policy
Membership fees are non-refundable. Registration Fees: No refunds for cancellations, however a credit voucher for a future event will be issued upon written notification received no less than two weeks prior to the Forum, or by August 27, 2017. No credits will be given to no shows. 


Group Room Rate: $335/night 
All room rates subject to 14.5% tax per night

Hotel Cancellation Policy: Deposit is refundable if reservation is cancelled 7 days or more prior to arrival. Cancellations (in whole or in part) made 7 days or less prior to arrival will be charged for the entire reservation. No shows and early departures will be charged for the entire reservation.

Sunday, September 10, 2017
Early Registration will be held from 4:00pm - 5:00pm
The Opening Reception will begin at 5:30pm

Monday, September 11, 2017
Registration & Continental Breakfast will begin at 7:30am
General Session will begin following breakfast and conclude no later than 5:30pm
Membership Reception will begin immediately following General Session
Membership Dinner seating will begin at 6:30pm

Tuesday, September 12, 2017
Private Breakfast and Closed-Door Sessions for Endowments & Foundations will begin at 7:15am
General Session will begin at 9:00am and conclude no later than 5:30pm
Evening Reception will begin immediately following General Session

Wednesday, September 13, 2017
Private Breakfast and Closed-Door Sessions for Endowments & Foundations will begin at 7:15am
General Session will begin at 9:15am
The Forum will conclude at 1:00pm
Luncheon immediately following (Grab n' Go lunches will be available)

The NMS Membership Reception & Dinner will be held on Monday, September 11, 2017.


The Mandarin Oriental is located approximately 7-10 minutes from Reagan National Airport, 40 minutes from Dulles International Airport and 1 hour from Baltimore/Washington International Airport. If you would like to arrange ground transportation ahead of time you may do so by contacting the Mandarin Oriental concierge at (202) 554-8588. Taxis are readily available at the airport for transfer to the Mandarin as well.
