This presentation is a case study of a patient who presented with a severe abscess associated with a central incisor. After removal, the boney defect did not allow space for an implant. The other central incisor had a history of root canal, large post and crown. We elected to remove this tooth and place a dental implant. We then used a cantilevered restoration. The process was a success.

Objectives:
Identify creative solutions to esthetic problems.
Improve treatment planning and execution.
Coordinate care with the lab technician.
Manage a complex situation from start to finish.
