A step-by-step case study of a patient with a failed implant who undergoes bone augmentation and guided stent implant placement will be discussed. The session will also review implant treatment planning, CDT coding, surgical implant placement, temporary implant restoration and final implant restoration. In addition, there will be a demonstration showing the use of CBCT scans, periapical X-rays, intraoral and extra-oral photographs.
Objectives:
Discuss treatment planning for guided stent implant placement.
Highlight dental pearls that will aid a novice in implant placement and restoration.
