Many times, in our careers we let finances dictate and influence our treatment decisions. This discussion will address the failures associated with treatment planning and completing a dental hybrid restoration. This discussion will show the patient’s initial presentation and the treatment plan. The presentation will show the documented steps through the treatment process, and the various points of implants failure to integrate. The importance of occlusion will be discussed, and how we can make costly mistakes when not considering its importance. Lastly, the reasons for the failures, will be discussed and how to avoid these problems when treating patients when they present similar clinical and financial situations.

Objectives:
Learn when to consider alternative treatment plans for hybrid restorations when finances are a roadblock.
Discuss why occlusion is paramount when performing implant restorative.
Identify how to avoid clinical complications when restoring implant hybrids during the indirect conversion impression technique.
