Session Type: Lecture
Lecture Fee: $ 25.00
Audience: D, A

This lecture will cover predictable, but uncommon, techniques to improve the practitioners ability to atraumatically remove nonrestorable teeth. It will emphasize less stress to the doctor and less stress to the patient through reduced post-op discomfort, edema and destruction to the alveolar ridge. Utilization of new-but-simple surgical instruments and a new paradigm of tooth removal will be demonstrated. Learn how affordable and reusable surgical instruments can allow a kinder experience for patients. Gain an understanding and application of the principle of finesse wins over force.

Objectives:
Understand how to deliver improved patient care by less-traumatic tooth removal.
Learn to preserve hard and soft tissue at the extraction site to improve all prosthetic replacement options.
Learn to use and apply finesse over force when removing teeth.
