This presentation is designed to review the clinical presentation and management of oral lesions which present as pigmented (dark) in color. The emphasis will be on how to establish a differential diagnosis for such lesions and how to distinguish similar-appearing lesions on the basis of their clinical presentation. A detailed discussion of management of oral pigmented lesions will be included.
