SLJW1C: What the Hell is That? - Mucosal Ulcers
This presentation is designed to review the clinical presentation and management of oral lesions which present as erosions or ulcers. The emphasis will be on how to establish a differential diagnosis for such lesions and how to distinguish similar-appearing lesions on the basis of their clinical presentation. A detailed discussion of oral cancer will be included.
Objectives:
Identify the more commonly encountered erosive/ulcerative lesions.
Distinguish between similar-appearing lesions.
Manage common erosive/ulcerative oral lesions clinically.
