The NASA Educator Professional Development Collaborative at
Texas State University is providing a 1-hour webinar. This month's theme is Earth Right Now. We see it every day in the sky and it impacts every aspect of life on Earth. Participants will get an overview of a NASA Storybook complete with classroom activities exploring The Sun and the Water Cycle. I will also demonstrate and create a bright vivid sun for building a 3D-mobile of The Sun and the Water Cycle. This webinar addresses the Next Generation Science Standard ESS2.A and ESS 2.C



Brandon has 16 years of experience as a teacher and leader in STEM Education.  He holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Middle Grades Science Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership & Administration with certifications for Principal and Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction.  Brandon became an Education Specialist with NASA in 2009.  He is now a faculty member of Texas State University and is the Educator Professional Development Collaborative Education Specialist at NASA Johnson Space Center.  He is responsible for designing and conducting professional development workshops, modeling best practices for culturally responsive teaching, and developing digital badges for online courses.  Brandon collaborates with state and local education agencies in the JSC region of Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, Colorado, South Dakota, & North Dakota.
