Self-management is a
requisite skill for improving health outcomes in persons with diabetes.
Incarcerated persons with diabetes, among the most vulnerable in our
society, have numerous multilevel challenges to engaging in diabetes self-care
management. Join us for a presentation discussing these challenges with Assistant Clinical Professor for the UConn School of Nursing, Louise Reagan, PhD, APRN, ANP-BC. Learn more about how findings from research with incarcerated persons were applied to
the development of a Diabetes Self-Management program and hear about ongoing and future research
in this area.
Save the Date! The 75th Anniversary Gala will be held September 23, 3017 at the Hartford Marriott.
