Self-management is a requisite skill for improving health outcomes in persons with diabetes.  Incarcerated persons with diabetes, among the most vulnerable in our society, have numerous multilevel challenges to engaging in diabetes self-care management. Join us for a presentation discussing these challenges with Assistant Clinical Professor for the UConn School of Nursing, Louise Reagan, PhD, APRN, ANP-BC. Learn more about how findings from research with incarcerated persons were applied to the development of a Diabetes Self-Management program and hear about ongoing and future research in this area.

Registration for this event, and all other events in the Colloquium Series, is free. Please RSVP by May 19, 2017.

Save the Date! The 75th Anniversary Gala will be held September 23, 3017 at the Hartford Marriott.
