Maisa will present the results of Cerebral Palsy Alliance’s digital Gifts in Wills campaign – sharing learnings, wins and challenges.

Jon is a lover of all things digital, especially analytics and performance media related. He has worked for UNICEF, News Ltd and Expert360 here in Australia and first started his career in the UK working for a range of brands to help them kick some digital goals including Marks & Spencer and The Hut Group.

He now runs Digital Ninjas, a digital consultancy that is lucky enough to work with a range of not-for-profits like Amnesty, Royal Flying Doctors and The Smith Family, helping people with everything from initial strategy formulation to execution and measurement of campaign activity.

Cerebral Palsy Alliance

An innovative marketer and fundraiser with experience across design, multi-channel communications planning, events, video, branding strategy and all digital channels, Maisa has 15 years of experience in marketing and is fairly new to bequests having worked for Cerebral Palsy Alliance as the Program Manager for 2 years.

Leveraging on her knowledge of user experience, target audience analysis, touch-points mapping and ROI reporting, in 18 months Maisa created and implemented a detailed bequest strategy that led Cerebral Palsy Alliance to an increase of 790% in the total number of warm bequest leads (considers and planners). They also reached a fourfold growth in the number of confirmed bequestors acquired per year in comparison to the numbers observed in three of the four previous years.

Maisa has a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and started her career as a designer for a major Brazilian e-commerce website. She made the move to Australia in 2003 where she extended her studies in marketing and multi-channel strategy and worked as a marketing consultant for B2B and B2C organisations. Maisa joined Cerebral Palsy Alliance in 2010 initially as part of the marketing team, where she held a pivotal role in building one of the largest and most engaged social media communities in the Australian disability sector. She moved to fundraising in 2014 as the Direct Marketing Manager for Events and Gifts in Wills.
