Description: This course will look at the 10 most frequent causes of malpractice claims in general dentistry and present a risk management strategy to minimize litigation. Malpractice claims are a costly and disruptive burden to all dental practitioners. Attendees will explore the most frequent causes of malpractice claims and remedies will be discussed. Appropriate informed consent will be addressed as well as, documentation and record keeping.
Learning Objectives:
- Attendees will understand the concept of Medical Negligence and how a lawsuit is disruptive to any practice.
