CPD for In-House Lawyers - The Power of Coaching: an introduction

The Power of Coaching: an introduction

Workplace stress has been identified as a growing problem often affecting performance and almost all of us will face stress-inducing situations at some point in our careers.

Veronica Gallagher, who spent most of her career in an in-house construction role, believes coaching is one possible avenue through which work-related issues can be explored and solutions identified.

Join Veronica on 9 November 2016 for “The Power of Coaching – an introduction” to find out:

• What is coaching and how does it differ from other roles e.g. mentoring, counselling and training
• Potential benefits of coaching for your organisation and for your own professional and personal wellbeing
• What makes a good coaching relationship
• Ethics of coaching and how to structure a coaching plan

Veronica will then explain the various steps of a typical coaching conversation and give you the opportunity to put the theory into practice by working through some practical exercises.

This seminar is free to attend for in-house lawyers.  Note: due to the nature of this event, no remote connections are available and places are limited to 20.

Please note: All of our CPD is verifiable. However, for Trainees this seminar will count towards your 20 hours of non-authorised TCPD - it WILL NOT count towards the required 40 hours of authorised TCPD. For more information on TCPD, please click here
