Katrina Hart
Senior Manager, Development
Children's Hospital Foundation

With over 12 years of not for profit experience across partnerships, events, major gifts and trust and foundation relationships, Katrina has a passion for fundraising and making an impact that matters. She is currently the Senior Manager, Development at the Children’s Hospital Foundation and looks after the Foundation’s trust and foundation program as well as low to mid-level individual relationships. Over the last 12 months, Katrina has implemented a trust and foundation program that has seen significant growth in a short period of time. Through Katrina’s leadership income has grown from $183,000 in 2014/15 to $650,000 in 2015/16. Katrina also brings expertise from her previous role as Development Manager for NSW/ACT at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

 
Bruce Macdonald

Bruce Macdonald has been in fundraising for over 20 years, having commenced his professional working career as a secondary school teacher in Victoria.He taught for 17 years before adopting for a complete career change and he entered the world of fundraising and marketing.Seeing the light and migrating north to Queensland, he took up the position of Director of Development at Brisbane Grammar School, where both his sons attended.

Seven years on, he moved to the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation to raise major funds in support of sick children.After five years, Bruce was approached to head up the major gifts and gifts in Wills fundraising programs at the Heart Foundation – he has been Fundraising Director there for nearly 7 years and thinks this position will see him out!

 
Terri Sheahan

Part of the Xponential Philanthropy team since its inception, Terri is an Executive Consultant who recently directed a $16m Capital Campaign for Ronald McDonald House SEQ which won a 2016 FIA Award for Excellence. A Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), Terri has a keen insight into the world of major gifts strategy and the art of cultivating advocates to use their influence in securing big gifts.

 Terri Sheahan has worked in fundraising for close to 30 years: initially specialising in not for profit copywriting, including Direct Mail appeals, grant-writing and case for support development.  Recently she started a new venture in Xponential Communications bringing together her award winning major gifts experience with her specialised social profit writing skills.
