INS 2017 Infusion Nursing Grand Rounds
 
Infusion Nursing Grand Rounds are brief podium presentations given in a case-study format. This tried-and-true approach of sharing clinical expertise and experiences promotes professional development, best infusion practices, and strategies for optimal patient outcomes.

Applications for INS 2017 are now closed.

Your application should consist of a title, abstract, learning outcome, outline, and references for a case study relating to infusion nursing. Submissions undergo blind review and are selected for presentation at INS 2017 in Minneapolis.

A few guidelines to remember: 
  • You'll have 20 minutes for your presentation. We recommend limiting the presentation to 15 minutes to allow time for questions from the audience.
  • Each presenter is required to read and agree with INS copyright and permission requirements when submitting an application. Click here for important permissions details. Permissions must be submitted with final presentations. 
  • Only one presenter for each Infusion Nursing Grand Rounds. 
  • Limit titles to 15 words.
  • A narrative abstract, limited to 200 words, is required. This summary of the presentation is used in the blind review to select Infusion Nursing Grand Rounds presenters. 
  • Citations and references must be styled using the American Medical Association (AMA) Manual of Style. 
  • Do not include any identifying text in the title or abstract. 
  • The material presented should be your own, original work and should not have been published previously. 
  • Infusion Nursing Grand Rounds selections will be announced by email beginning March 16, 2017. Completed presentations (PowerPoint) must be submitted to INS by April 10, 2017. 
Please note: Infusion Nursing Grand Rounds presenters must be registered to attend INS 2017 on Monday May 8, 2017. All expenses related to the presentation and meeting attendance (including but not limited to travel, transportation, lodging, and meals) are the responsibility of the presenter (no industry support is permitted).
