NSW - Direct Marketing - It's all about the data

With the ever-increasing cost of recruiting new supporters it’s never been more critical to make sure you’re getting the best out of your existing base.

Come and hear how Cerebral Palsy Alliance’s multi-pronged approach to data cleansing and selection has reduced do not mail rates and improved response rates and average gifts across their mail file.   You’ll receive practical advice and cost-effective techniques to help you improve you return on investment and the lifetime value of your donors.

You’ll also hear the results and learnings from their early trials using interactive digital conversations through SMS – a potential game-changer, if you are facing decreasing email open rates and phone contact rates.

This session is a must for anyone looking for some quick and innovative ways to re-engage supporters.

Luke Bridges
Solutions Director
Gopher

Luke is an industry thought leader whose approach to business reflects his unquenchable desire for continual improvement. He is passionate about technology and software, and how it can be leveraged to transform business operations, especially in the not-for-profit sector.  ‘Innovate or die’ is a mantra Luke lives by - innovation being a muscle he believes all companies need to develop in order to stay competitive.

Having spent the first chapter of his career working for global consultancy practice Deloitte, Luke acted on his passion by co-founding Sydney-based tech firm Gopher in 2014. Gopher has since become a market pioneer in donor-centric SMS based solutions for both charities and the for profit sector, and is providing a revolutionary approach to engagement and relationship building via the SMS channel.

Adam Drinan
Senior Manager DM Fundraising & Marketing
Cerebral Palsy Alliance

Adam Drinan like many accidently left the corporate marketing world in 2005 and fell into the not-for-profit sector managing one of the largest school fundraising programs in Australia.

He then managed fundraising appeals for Northcott and also spent time as the Supporter Relations Manager at IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare) for the Asia Pacific Region.

Adam joined Cerebral Palsy Alliance in 2009 and manages an individual giving team that raises in excess of twenty million dollars.

He believes that all direct marketing is about using every piece of data available to deliver the right message to the right person, at the right time and that fundraising supercharges the outcomes via a mix of rational and emotional responses.

Adam is a multiple FIA award winner, a former member of the NSW FIA committee and enjoys any opportunity to interact and share ideas with other fundraisers.
