Meet Our Keynote Speakers

JENNY REILLY - Jenny Reilly currently is the Certified Director of Christian Education at Salem United Methodist Church in Denver, NC.  Jenny is a graduate of Greensboro College and holds a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Pfeiffer University.  She has been involved with the Weekday Workshop for 23 years, first as a Committee Member and more recently as a popular presenter.  For years, before registration was done online, Jenny was the Registrar for the Workshop.  In addition to her duties at Salem UMC, Jenny is a Workshop and Retreat Leader, a Thrive Partners Coach, and has served on local and conference committees through The Western North Carolina Conference of The United Methodist Church and National Christians Engaged in Faith Formation Board.

Jenny and her husband, Dan, have three children who she says are growing up way too fast.  Her hobbies include traveling, photography, crocheting, and supporting whatever sport or competition that showcase her children’s abilities and passions.

Sidney McCrory - Sidney McCrory is the Director of First United Methodist Preschool in Waynesville, NC, a position she has held for seven years.  Before coming to Waynesville, Sidney served as the Director of the Child Enrichment Center at First Methodist Church in Columbus, Mississippi for five years.  Sidney attended Mississippi State University and William Cary College, earning degrees in Fine Art and Art Education.   She has taught 3, 4, and 5 year old preschool classes as well as 5^th and 6^th grades. 

Over the past few years, Sidney has become the most sought-after Presenter for our Weekday Conference.  Her enthusiasm and wit always make for a lively session!

Sidney has been married to her husband, Richard, for 25 years and they have four children, Caroline (21), Mary Ashley (19), Anna Clair (17), and John Patrick (10).      Sidney also has a new granddaughter, Penelope-Grace!
