WA - How to: Connect! Digital Marketing Strategies for Non-Profit Organisations

There are more ways than ever before to interact with your supporters and potential supporters online. This can be empowering for non-profit organisations, especially those with limited budgets, but it can also be hard knowing where to begin. Gain insight and advice from sector experts on how to approach not just fundraising, but also marketing and communications for non-profits, in the digital arena.

Online platforms provide a great tool for building relationships and thanking your supporters with Twitter and Facebook offering greater scope for this kind of vital fundraiser engagement. But with so many new and emerging channels it can often seem overwhelming.
Hear from from UWA’s CMO, Karen Carriero, and Head of Strategy at The Brand Agency, Alison Ray, who worked together on the new UWA digital strategy: Pursue Impossible. Karen will present a client overview of how to manage a brand change project with reference to the “Pursue Impossible” campaign currently being undertaken by UWA. Alison will provide an overview of social media strategies for non-for profits: what works and, sometimes more importantly, what doesn’t. Alison will also give tips about how to deal with difficult situations and complaints online.

This event is not just for fundraisers, but also marketing and communications professionals working within not-for-profit organisations, so please spread the word to your colleagues! We hope you can join us for this insightful evening.
