Professional Sales Program - Counselor Salesperson, a Wilson Learning program

The Water Council’s Small Business Channel and BREW Accelerator are bringing a professional, three-day immersive sales program to you for the first time – Counselor Salesperson, a Wilson Learning Program. Our facilitator has deep knowledge in the water industry as an executive and sales leader. He has called on utilities, industrial users, and launched new products. He gets it.

Wilson Learning is a global learning company founded by Larry Wilson who wrote the “One Minute Salesperson.”

The purpose of the Counselor Salesperson program is to give you a defined set of skills that will improve your sales success and an understanding of why you are using those skills. The core philosophy of the program is not to sell and be “pushy,” but to be solution focused and get the customer to buy from you because it solves their problem.

Who should participate?

  • If you lack a defined sales process or system this program is for you and your sales team.
  • If you are just starting in the sales and business development professional role this program will absolutely help you learn the right skills and attitude. You won’t have to unlearn bad habits.
  • If you are just searching for a better process to refine your skills and grow your book of business this program will bring the structure and understanding needed to drive sales

In this program you will:
  • You will define and learn to overcome the 4 significant barriers in the sales process selling:
    • No Trust
    • No Need
    • No Help
    • No Satisfaction

  • Apply these new skills in real situations and tailored for water technology.
  • Learn how to gain trust faster and grow more business.
  • Have a facilitator who understands our industry and be in class with other water industry business development professionals
  • Have an opportunity to be video recorded for later feedback with a coach
