Amy Lackey is director of Commercial Driver’s License Issuance for the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security. She’s been with the department for 13 years, having started that stretch as a driver’s license examiner in Dyersburg, TN. She worked her way up to branch manager and district manager, then served as the department’s CDL program manager from 2012 to 2015. She’s been in her current position for the past 15 months.
