CPD for New Lawyers: Using Your Voice

Almost everyone has to stand up and speak in front of an audience at some time in their lives. How can we ensure that, when it’s our turn to speak we do it better? Your voice can be a tool of great flexibility, continually varying, continually exploring the range of expression. At the very least it should be heard!

This seminar will cover:

• How to add variety to the voice
• How to enunciate more clearly
• How to speak at the right speed

This is a practical course where attendees will have the opportunity to try most, if not all, the exercises.

All of us have to speak so this course is for everyone who feels that their communication skills need polishing. Perhaps you have been accused of mumbling? Is your accent inhibiting comprehension? Do people at the back of the room struggle to hear?
