Molly Rector, vice president of marketing and product management for Spectra Logic, is responsible for the vision and definition of Spectra Logic's digital data archive storage products. She is also a founding member and chairperson for the Active Archive Alliance, an industry collaboration formed to define, standardize and ensure longevity of evolving new technologies that enable reliable, online and affordable access to digital data archives. Rector possesses a diverse technology background drawn from years of overseeing storage architecture, support and design. Rector's certifications include: CommVault Certified System Administrator; Veritas Certified Data Protection Administrator; and Oracle Certified Enterprise DBA. She earned a bachelor's of science degree in biology and chemistry.
