Sponsor Delegate Registration

Each Sponsor receives an allotted amount of complimentary Sponsor Delegate Registrations. Each attendee must be pre-registered online and will need to collect their badge when they arrive onsite in order to access the exhibition hall, conference sessions, receptions and networking events.

Registration Instructions


These registration instructions can be sent to team members to self-register or you may choose to register the team yourself as a group.

  1. Click on the registration link
  2. Enter your group registration code
    (This is sent to the Sponsor Contact via email once the sponsorship invoice has been paid)
  3. Select: Sponsor Delegate
  4. Enter the password provided in your email

You must complete all required fields for each registrant; if you do not complete the required fields, the registrant will be listed as incomplete and you will need to attempt to register the person again. A valid individual email address for each of your sponsor delegates is required - duplicate email addresses will not be accepted.

* These rates only apply to confirmed sponsors who need to purchase above their sponsor delegate allotment. These rates do not apply to non-sponsor delegates.

Stand Assistant

Stand Assistants must be from the sponsoring organisation and are defined as an admin level employee of the participating sponsor company who serves to replenish stand supplies or relieve stand staff. Models do not qualify as Stand Assistants – models are considered a marketing extension of the sponsoring organisation’s exhibit and require Sponsor Delegate level registration for access to the event.

Stand Assistants have access to the exhibit hall only and are not permitted access to conference sessions or business/social networking events (matchmaking lounge, conference luncheons, gala dinner, etc.).

To Qualify:

  • The sponsoring company must have a minimum of 10 Sponsor Delegates registered.
  • One (1) Stand Assistant is permitted for every 10 registered sponsor delegates.
  • Stand Assistant Registration Fee: £350 (+ SA VAT) per assistant.

* Stand Assistant registrations are subject to approval by Mining Indaba. If it is deemed that your staff do not qualify for a Stand Assistant registration they will be required to purchase a sponsor delegate pass at the applicable sponsor delegate rate.

Bulk Badge Collection

  • Available only for sponsors & exhibitors collecting 10 or more delegate badges.
  • Collection includes delegate badge, delegate bag collection ticket and gala dinner ticket (if applicable).
  • Timeslots are available on a first come - first reserved basis.
  • Deadline for requests – Friday 13 January 2017
  • Collection contact must ensure all delegates are aware their badge will be collected on their behalf and must arrange distribution of badges, delegate bag collection ticket and gala dinner ticket (if applicable). Once collected on-site these will not be re-issued to delegates.
