Alicia Chong Rodriguez

Alicia is currently an Integrated Design Management graduate fellow at MIT and a co-founder of Bloomer Technologies. She has 6 years of semiconductor industry experience as a Hardware Engineer at the ASICs (Application Specific Integrated Circuits) team at HP Networking's R&D Center and as Field Applications Engineer at Teradyne Inc. Alicia was part of the organizing team of the first 3 editions of TEDx PuraVidaJoven. She has been creating Women in Technology initiatives in Latin America for over 8 years: Grupo MenTe in Monterrey, Mexico and launched at the presidential house in Costa Rica MenTe en Acción and the National Network for Women in Science and Technology along with the collaborative community Ideas en Acción. She was selected for Singularity University's Global Solutions Program in 2015. Her undergrad is in Electronic and Computer Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico, Born and raised in Costa Rica with Peruvian roots.
