NSW - Corporate Partnerships Today - Creating Shared Value
Corporate
Partnerships are changing. The focus is increasingly moving towards
‘Creating Shared Value’. But what is CSV and how can it work for your charity? Come
and hear from some of the leaders in this emerging space, with two
inspirational case studies presented from the perspective of 3 parties – the
charity, the corporate, and the enabler.
Mali
Hawkins from Red Cross will give an overview of “Social Enterprise”, a unique
partnership between Australian Red Cross, Whitelion and Lendlease, that sees
high quality food and coffee social enterprises as the vehicle to providing
supported training and employment for young people of Indigenous backgrounds
and from the juvenile justice system. Annette Ruhotas from Lendlease will
talk about why and how they are involved, and how they will measure success.
You
will also hear from Margaret O’Brien from Social Traders who will overview the
recently launched Good Spender, Australia’s first online marketplace for
exclusively for social enterprise. Margaret will also talk about Social
Trader’s 6 month social enterprise incubation process and how YOU can get your
concept investment-ready and into the market, delivering a potential new
