In simulation of the real-world bid and proposal process, student teams interpret bid documents, plan means and methods, perform take-offs and pricing, analyze subcontractor quotes, create schedules, and submit proposals. Teams are evaluated by industry judges on the quality of written proposals and oral presentations, and all within a tight 36-hour time period. Awards are given in the areas of commercial building, heavy-civil construction, design-build and concrete.
