Qld - Major Gifts Fundraising Workshop

A brilliant Major Gifts Workshop opportunity exclusive to Queensland.

In response to our members' requests, FIA Qld Committee is offering you an exciting one day workshop which will invigorate your approach to major gift fundraising.

The day's program will be led by Chief Big Gifts with Xponential Philanthropy, Craige Gravestein FFIA CFRE. As a member of FIA's MDU faculty for major gifts, Craige will facilitate the day including the scenarios, presentations and his broad knowledge of the Australian big gifts space.

We have organised a range of world class presenters to lead sessions throughout the day so that you can benefit from their experience and hear local case studies. These include leading Queensland Major Gift fundraisers as well as Dr Wendy Scaife FFIA, Acting Director, Australian Centre of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies (ACPNS) at QUT, and Dr Beth Breeze, Director, Centre for Philanthropy at Kent University both of whom are undoubtedly experts in their field.

This Major Gift Workshop is designed to provide a thought provoking and practical session for those who are involved in major gift fundraising or would like to learn more about working with major donors.

  5. Exercise with Scenarios: Craige Gravestein FFIA CFRE, Xponential Philanthropy
  6. Major Donor Program Management: budget, tracking, reporting, evaluation: Jock Beveridge MFIA, Mater Foundation
  7. Prospecting and Major Donors. Identifying, cultivating, stewarding, recognition (moves management): Craige Gravestein, FFIA CFRE, Xponential Philanthropy
  8. Who Asks? An exploration of the personal characteristics of fundraisers: Dr Beth Breeze, Centre for Philanthropy, Kent University, UK
