QLD- The Way of the Fundraising Warrior

The Dave Rose Oration

Over 25 years, Meredith Campbells career as a fundraiser has covered everything from the mundane to the ridiculous to the sublime.
  • From the fun run and badge day Queen of Brisbane, to internationally recognised award winning multi-million dollar corporate partnerships.
  • From shovelling artificial snow in King George Square, to leading groups of breast cancer survivors on Harley-Davidson tours of the UK, US and Australia.
  • From wearing a Banana suit in the Queen Street Mall, to raising over $90 million in 4 years from Australia’s largest ever cancer fundraising event series.

In the course of that career, a philosophy has emerged – of The Way of the Fundraising Warrior, and seven key tenets to live and work by– if you want to change the world, and your own life.

Discover the pathway to fundraising enlightenment and unleash your inner fundraising warrior!

  • The fundraiser as entrepreneur
  • Risk – personal risk in your life and career, emotional risk for the causes you represent, and your own financial risk and investment
  • Persistence – staying the course
  • Failing, but failing fast
  • “No” is not a word in your vocabulary
  • All that you have is your soul……values based leadership and fundraising

This event is suitable for all leaders of organisations who fundraise and all fundraising professionals.

We will also be announcing the Qld State winners and organisational finalists in the FIA National Awards for Excellence in Fundraising.

  • Be there at 7.00am to share fundraising experiences with Meredith and your peers over tea/coffee before breakfast.

Free parking available at the venue.
