WA - How To: Understand the Collateral Production & Print Process

Although it's fast becoming a world where communication takes place through digital screens, we still need the power of the printed image. A Fundraiser's role inevitably includes the commissioning of the very specialised process of collateral production and print. To understand the entire process of producing printed marketing collateral, including image files and resolutions, stock types, print formats and finishing, it is important to have this knowledge and to be cognisant of the relevant terminology, options and economy scales and timing in order to be in control and to benefit from a cost effective and professional result.

This FIA event will take an image and piece of artwork from conception to production, using offset and digital printing technologies so that the actual process is seen in real time. Afternoon tea on arrival and refreshments and networking at the conclusion are included.
