NSW - How to build and retain an effective fundraising team

Panel Discussion: Fundraising is a people business, yet we often overlook our own people. Data shows that fundraising staff are loyal to the non-profit sector and to fundraising as a career, but change roles and organisations frequently. The detrimental impact of this high turnover for non-profit organisations, their supporters and the fundraiser themselves is well known.

This presentation will present a range of ways we can support fundraisers to remain and grow in their roles. Areas will include increased resourcing within the bounds of good risk assessment, developing long-term strategic planning, increasing leadership engagement and building an internal culture of philanthropy.
