Since 2007, Ashlie has been working in the not-for-profit sector in Perth with some of the state’s largest and most respected charities, including the Heart Foundation and Channel 7 Telethon Trust. Ashlie is experienced in events, community fundraising, partnerships/sponsorships, program management and donor relations. New to her list of expertise is direct mail program management.

Ashlie's achievements and contribution to fundraising was acknowledged in February 2014 when she was awarded as the Young Fundraiser of the Year. This FIA National Award for Excellence was awarded as a result of consistent excellence and best practice through her actions, leadership and intellect.

Respected throughout the fundraising community, Ashlie has been actively involved with the Fundraising Institute Australia as a member of the State Executive since December 2011. Ashlie has also received two scholarships to further her education and has since completed a Certificate in Fundraising in 2012 and Madison Down Under - Capital Campaigns and Major Gifts in 2013.

An active volunteer, Ashlie is passionate about connecting new fundraisers within the industry and encouraging career development and longevity within the not-for-profit sector.
 
Laura Kazmirowicz MFIA
2015 WA Young Fundraiser of the Year

Laura has been working in the not-for-profit industry for more than 10 years, and for the past 7 years within the health and medical research charity sector. She has an excellent understanding of ongoing donor engagement and stewardship as well as the importance of inter-organisational collaboration in effective fundraising across diverse industries. She is passionate about the positive difference that not-for-profit organisations are able to make in the world and also volunteers for several community organisations.

Most recently, Laura has managed a highly successful annual fundraising event and appeal, which, since the inaugural event in 2011, has raised over $3 million. The 2015 event and appeal raised more than $1 million.

Laura is an active member of the WA fundraising community and has been part of the FIA WA Executive Committee since 2014.
