Qld GC - Three unique perspectives from the pinnacle of the donor pyramid

Your fabulous Gold Coast FIA team has designed a great workshop style PD for August’s session. This one is truly not to be missed and will look at a bequest gift from three different perspectives – charity, agency and donor!

Our Case Study is the National Stroke Foundation’s Bequest Campaign; our speakers are Ross Anderson MFIA, National Stroke Foundation and Joe McKenna, Apple Marketing and CareFlight Donor and Volunteer Layne Daly.

Not only will we hear how the campaign was designed and the underlying strategies behind the approach but we will also have the opportunity to explore with Ross some questions from a fundraiser’s perspective. For example:

  • What drives people to leave a gift in their will?
  • How do we keep them committed to leaving that gift?
  • What responsibilities do fundraisers and charities have to their bequestors?

Then, like the icing on the cake, we also have a rare inside view from a generous bequestor.

Three unique perspectives from the pinnacle of the donor pyramid!
