Mathew Desbiens, BSc GIS Mathew Desbiens is the GIS Manager at AtlaGas Utilities in Leduc, Alberta where he is responsible for the GIS Administration and Drafting groups. These groups provide GIS/GPS support to the AltaGas operations, engineering and construction departments. Growing up in British Columbia, Mathew obtained his Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Systems from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 2007 and began his career with ESRI software development in Redlands California. Mathew has spent many years as GIS Manager in the seismic survey/oil and gas industry throughout the US Southern States. Mathew has over 9 years experience in the GIS industry, 4 years in gas utilities and a strong background in a wide range of geospatial related technologies.
