Bio
Eric Steinson is a registered First Class Power Engineer in the Province of British Columbia. He is currently employed as a Shift Supervising Engineer at Burrard Generating Station, which is a 6 unit, 950 MW conventional steam turbine power generating station in Port Moody, B.C. He has worked as Operations Manager of the Burrard Generating Station as well as Safety Implementation Manager for Generation Safety. 

Prior to his work at BC Hydro, Mr. Steinson held positions at Skeena Cellulose’s Northern Pulp Operations as Manager of Recovery and Utilities and Training and Development Manager. 

Mr. Steinson is currently serving as National President of the Institute of Power Engineers and Chair of the Program Advisory Committee for Power Engineering at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
