Bio

He presently works for Korea Customs and Trade Development Institute funded by the government as research fellow, analyzing trade statistics for macro and micro economic issues. As deputy director, he worked for Korea Customs Service at Trade Statistics Center from 2009 to 2014, analyzing trade statistics and working for the exchanges of trade data for intra or- inter governmental affairs. He joined the 45th UN Statistics Commission in 2014 as one of Korean delegation members for the issue of ‘measurement of international trade and economic globalization’. He studied at Korea University for Ph.D course of international Economics from 2005 to 2007, specializing in regional integration of economies. He joined APEC 2005 Small and Medium-sized Ministerial Meetings as Korean representative for the presentation on the measurement of the effectiveness in governmental supports for SMEs and the introduction of Korean microcredit system also. His recent publications include ‘A Study on the Development of Economic Indicators for Agriculture, Fishery, and Livestock’ and ‘A Study on FTA’s Trade Creation and Trade Diversion Effects in Korean Import Automobile Market’.
