Description: Invisalign Fundamentals is a three-part program designed for a GP provider who would like to begin offering Invisalign in their practice. The program provides dentists and team members with the necessary tools and education to start treating patients with Invisalign. Invisalign Fundamentals consists of a 1 hour orientation course to get you started in the Invisalign process, a, 4-hour instructor-led live course that delivers clinical education and hands-on training on the Invisalign technique, as well as 4-hour online course that reviews the Invisalign case submission process.

Part 1: Online Orientation - Designed for Dentists and their teams, this one hour course provides valuable information regarding Invisalign and how to get started in the Invisalign process. Topics such as why treat malocclusion in your practice, the impact of treating patients with Invisalign in your practice, restorative solutions in conjunction with Invisalign treatment, and initial patient selection for Invisalign treatment will be discussed.

Part 2: Live Course

  • Doctor Session:  Designed for dentists, this exciting half-day course provides doctor’s with the clinical and operational trainings necessary to treat a broad range of patients with Invisalign. This live course is divided into two separate sessions: one for doctors only and one for team members only. It is highly recommended that all key team members attend the Team Session program, especially, hygienists, assistants and treatment coordinators.

 

  • Team Session:  Designed specifically for team members, this half-day course will be covering relevant case submission topics and practice hands-on experience. It is highly recommended that all key team members attend this program, especially, hygienists, assistants and treatment coordinators. This course features active and engaging instruction to foster efficient work flow and synergy for integrating Invisalign into the practice. All attendees will receive 4 CE hours. 

 

Part 3: Online Course - Invisalign Fundamentals online content reviews key procedures and critical information required to efficiently and effectively incorporate Invisalign into a practice, and is designed to assist doctors and team members understand all aspects of the Invisalign treatment process. Login information and instructions for the online course will be provided to registrants at the conclusion of the Live Course. Participants will earn 4 Invisalign CDE hours upon successful completion of the online content and the short quiz that follows.

  • Identify ideal case types for Invisalign treatments
  • Learn how to present Invisalign treatment to patients
  • Assimilate all aspects of the Invisalign process into the practice
  • Hands-on impression taking
  • Hands-on attachment placement
  • Use the software that depicts a virtual set up of your planned treatment
  • Integrate the team into the Invisalign process and understand the critical roles they will play
  • Understand where to find support for additional training and information
