Description: Not every question parents ask about their children’s dental care was covered in the other talk. Here are more, including early orthodontics, thumb-sucking, stainless steel crowns and several more. These come up when the doctor leaves the treatment area and the parent asks the dental assistant. Are your assistants prepared to answer them? They can be if they attend this program.

Learning Objectives:
  • Gain confidence in determining early orthodontic referrals

  • Be prepared to answer questions about thumb-sucking and other oral habits

  • Know about “normal” dental development
