Description: The Dentist’s Advantage Program, working in partnership with AIG Insurance Companies, has recently completed a multi-dimensional analysis of 5 years of claims filed against dentists. The findings of this analysis will form the basis for the presentation: Understanding Dentist’s Professional Liability Claims.

The presentation will consist of three parts:

The three leading causes of claims filed against dentists will be discussed in detail. Case studies will be presented to support the study’s findings.
An exploration of licensure actions against dentists will also be included; together with a summary of actions taken against dentists.
Finally, a comparison of demographic data for dentists with claims will be compared to dentists without claims resulting in some interesting conclusions.

The presentation will conclude with a look at Emerging Exposures in the Dental Practice where the growing issue of Cyber Liability is examined.
