Description: This hands-on course will cover routine surgeries, from extractions to impactions, as well as root fragments, palatal and mandibular lingual tori removal, simple and complex orthodontic impacted canine exposure, socket grafting with and without membranes, infections, pain management, and dealing with complications. Tips and techniques for faster, more efficient, and less painful surgery will be presented. The session also will cover anatomy, local anesthetic blocks, and oral sedation.
Learning objectives:
- Understand new skills and instruments for extraction.
- Review oral surgery, anatomy, and local anesthesia techniques.
- Practice hard and soft tissue procedures on models.
