Thank you to everyone who contributed to the successful running of ILA 2012.  We were delighted to host such a great mix of local and international delegates.  The conference theme was "Autonomy in a Networked World: Te Tū Motuhake i te Ao Kōtuitui”, and it was fully explored and examined throughout our thee day gathering.

The Interactive Learning Fair and Swap Shop, hosted by Moira Hobbs and Kerstin Dofs, provided practical vehicles for exchanging ideas and considering independent learning from a range of perspectives.

It was a pleasure to announce the winners of the Extensive Reading Foundation Learner Literature Awards 2012.  For more on the work of the ERF and the awards, go to http://www.erfoundation.org/erf/awards12.

We look forward to ILA 2014, which will be held in Thonburi (Bangkok), Thailand.
