IAU Global Meeting of Associations (GMA VIII)
GMA group 2019
Thank you to the participants of the Global Meeting of Associations 2019!
About the GMA:
Global Meetings of Associations (GMA) are held every two years. They are organized exclusively for leaders of national, regional and international associations/organizations of higher education institutions. They offer a unique opportunity for these leaders to meet as a relatively small group of peers to exchange ideas, practices and to network.

Host & Partner:
The GMA 2019 is hosted by the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla and organized in partnership with the Association of Universities of Latin America and the Caribbean (UDUAL).

Audience:
The GMA is exclusively open to senior representatives from national, regional and international higher education associations, organisations and networks.

Format:
The GMA will start with a panel to frame the theme and discuss implications for higher education associations. The participants will then breakout into groups to debate and exchange views and experiences on current trends shaping the future of higher education. In the second series of group discussions, the focus of the discussions will be more oriented towards how Associations can collaborate on the diffrent topics  At the end of the day the key outcomes of the discussions will be presented in plenary in order to conclude the meeting and outlines the way forward until the next GMA in 2021.
