Aflatoun, Child Savings International, is a non-governmental organisation based in The Netherlands. Aflatoun promotes and provides social and financial education to different age groups, ranging from early childhood to youth. Aflatoun works as a social franchise, in which the network partners are independent, also financially, but make use of the support from the Secretariat when needed.
This model where the Aflatoun Secretariat acts as a resource centre means that partners have full ownership and adapt the materials for curriculum, training, monitoring and evaluation to implement fully contextualised Aflatoun programmes. In addition, the Secretariat supports network partners in developing and implementing advocacy strategies to promote life skills education and training to relevant authorities. This includes Aflatoun Academy focusing on training trainers and teachers through Teacher Training Institutes.
Today, Aflatoun, together with its 152 partners, offers social and financial programmes to 2.3 million children and youth in 103 countries.

About HOPE worldwide HOPE worldwide (Hong Kong) was incorporated in Hong Kong in 1993 and is a registered charitable organization with the Inland Revenue Department. It was established to initiate and coordinate programs in the Greater China region. Affiliated with HOPE worldwide based in Pennsylvania, USA, it currently serves underprivileged children, youth, and their families, and vulnerable seniors in Hong Kong, as well as poor rural communities in China through sponsoring children’s basic education. Since 1999, it has provided health and volunteer services to over 30,000 vulnerable seniors and has given educational assistance opportunities to over 136,000 children and youth. |

The Microfinance Pasifika Network (MFPN) is an alliance of institutions committed to supporting disadvantaged people in the Pacific to improve their quality of life, through the provision of inclusive and sustainable financial services such as savings, credit, remittances and payment services and insurance. MFPN is the emergent microfinance and financial sector development network in the Pacific. It is registered as a charitable trust in Vanuatu, with the secretariat based in Fiji and hosted by The Foundation for Development Cooperation (FDC). The Network was formally launched in June 2006 in Port Vila, Vanuatu, following a year of consultation led by FDC, with eight inaugural members. MFPN has held a number of successful events and engaged in activities which have helped to bring together practitioners and stakeholders in meaningful ways, contributing to developing the microfinance sector in the Pacific |
