12:30 - 15:30 hours

In this workshop the principles of evidence-based practice will be introduced and applied according to a clinical scenario beginning with a relevant clinical problem, formulation of a “PICO”, critical appraisal of a paper, learning about study designs, interpreting the magnitude and relevance of clinical outcomes, and translate these to the individual patient for shared decision making. The form of this workshop is group discussion which requires some homework by doing a critical appraisal of a paper.
