China Confidential's core team in Mainland China comprises of 40 researchers in 12 provinces. We conduct structured company and consumer interviews annually to generate data on investment trends. We use this data to forecast when inflection points in investment narratives are about to take place - so if you are interested to know when the Chinese macro-economic cycle is about to turn, or when sectoral trends will change direction or when the fortunes of individual companies operating in China (including multinationals) are in flux, we are an excellent source.

We research in Mandarin Chinese. We publish our results in English in fortnightly reports and update alerts. We publish 61 separate monthly indices and these go to form the eight monthly macro indicators. We also publish a quarterly consumer brands survey. We survey 2000 respondents in over 134 first-, second- and third-tier cities.
