THE FICTION AWARD:
Africa and the Middle East: Works of fiction published in English              
Passport holders* from the following countries are eligible to enter the art award.

Angola, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Burundi, Benin, Burkina Faso, Botswana, Central African Republic, Côte d'Ivoire, Cameroon, Congo, Dem. Rep., Congo, Rep., Comoros, Cabo Verde, Djibouti, Algeria, Egypt, Arab Rep., Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Georgia, Ghana, Guinea, Gambia, The, Guinea-Bissau, Iran, Islamic Rep., Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Lesotho, Morocco, Madagascar, Mali, Mozambique, Mauritania, Mauritius, Malawi, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, West Bank and Gaza, Rwanda, Sudan, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, São Tomé and Principe, Swaziland, Syrian Arab Republic, Chad, Togo, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Tunisia, Turkey, Tanzania, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Yemen, Rep., South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe


This list of emerging-market countries was defined by the World Bank Atlas Method (i.e. those with a GNI per capita of less than $12,746)
 
* Applicants will be required to provide proof of nationality or a copy of their passport.


THE FILM AWARD:
Asia-Pacific: Films in any language with English subtitles. 
Passport holders* from the following countries are eligible to enter the art award.

American Samoa, Cambodia, China, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Kiribati, Korea DPR, Laos, Malaysia, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Turkey, Tuvalu, Vanuatu and Vietnam.

Latin America and the Caribbean: including, but not limited to, paintings, drawings, sculptures, installations, photographs, prints and mixed media.
Passport holders* from the following countries are eligible to enter the art award:

Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname and Venezuela.
