2018 Emergency Medicine Conference

WELCOME!

A Message from the Conference Chairperson and Planning Committee

Dear Colleagues:

With pleasure we invite you to attend the 27th Annual National Emergency Medicine Conference to be held at the oceanfront, Turtle Bay Resort, situated on the beautiful North Shore of Oahu in Hawaii. Turtle Bay is a rare gem and a truly iconic Hawaiian landmark; the only resort of its kind anywhere on the North Shore situated on a majestic outcropping with panoramic views of the breathtaking shoreline.

The Planning Committee has assembled a distinguished panel of speakers in the field of Emergency Medicine to serve as faculty. This year's symposium will feature key topics, updates, and sharing of best practices. We will feature workshops relevant to your daily EM practice including preparing you for disasters, a training with techniques to achieve better patient satisfaction, and an Ultrasound course that will be tailored to enhance your level of expertise regardless of whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced. Our goal is to help you come away with new skills and meet your educational needs.

We’ve secured a small block of rooms pre and post conference and encourage you to come for the education but also to relax, rejuvenate and connect with friends and colleagues. We know you will find Turtle Bay the perfect base to get fully immersed in the authentic island experience while experiencing the education you want.

To book your hotel room, you’ll be required to register first for the conference. You will then receive an email registration confirmation with the hotel reservation code to use and other information to book your room. Please note that the greatly discounted rooms are on a first-come, first-serve basis so we highly recommend that you register today. Registrants may only book one room. While priority must be given to our conference participants, if space permits as we get closer to the date, you will be welcome to secure additional rooms. Please remember that our block of rooms is limited and once filled, you will need to make alternate arrangements. We recommend that you register today to ensure that you are able to stay at Turtle Bay.

We look forward to seeing you!
