Niccolò has been investing in Food Tech since 2014, and created and managed a portfolio of 10 high-profile Food Tech companies, including Impossible Foods, Clara Foods, Beyond Meat, JUST, Perfect Day and Clear Labs, as part of a leading European family office. His experience includes sourcing, diligence and growth strategy for early stage companies in Food Tech and, more broadly, in tech. Previously, he was Project Manager at strategy consulting firm Monitor Group (now Monitor Deloitte), focusing on food ingredients, healthcare, consumer and industrial goods, across strategic marketing and organisational engagements. Prior to that, he worked as part of the McKinsey & Co. Management Matters initiative on management best practices and their impact on productivity and efficiency in the public (healthcare and education) and private (manufacturing) sectors. Niccolò holds a BSc in Management from Bocconi University and an MSc in International Affairs from the London School of Economics and Peking University.

Isabelle de Cremoux

Isabelle is CEO and Managing Partner and leads the Life Sciences team. She joined Seventure in 2001 after a decade in the pharma industry to establish the Life Sciences division. Isabelle supervises the Life Sciences business and personally invests in French and Scandinavian and north American biotech, nutrition, healthcare, personalized medicine and personalized nutrition and foodtech. Isabelle has a particular interest in the microbiome field and frequently gives lectures at conferences in this domain. Thomas Espiard

As CapAgro ‘s Managing Partner, Tom brings 12 years of Growth equity and VC investment and portfolio management experience in Canada and in France across various sectors. Tom oversaw the deployment of more than C$6bn of private capital and successfully launched a VC fund in Canada in 2014. Prior to that, Tom spent 10 years as an investment banker in Canada and helped companies raise more than C$800M of equity financings and execute C$7.6bn worth of M&A. Tom has served on several board of portfolio companies, GP and institutions in Canada, the U.S., France and South Africa. Thomas holds a B.A.A from HEC Montreal and an MBA from McGill University.

Benoit is Director of Business Creation at EIT Food, where he helps young entrepreneurs and startups to create and develop their food business in Europe. Before devoting his work fulltime to EIT Food, Benoit has co-founded and managed 2 startups, an incubator and a 43€ million seed fund. He also served on the Board of various food-related startups, from primary production to food waste treatment. Benoit spent the last 6 years in South America where he was a consultant in technology transfer and venture creation.

Joseph has dedicated his career to designing and delivering projects that have a positive impact. A trained lawyer and chef, Joseph has worked at the United Nations headquarters in New York, helped open the UK office of international children’s charity, Free The Children, and led a team for the Mayor of London tackling youth unemployment and helping charities become more entrepreneurial. In the years prior to joining EIT Food, Joseph launched a new charitable foundation with the backing from wealthy food entrepreneurs to invest in, train and advise early-stage agrifood businesses that would help us transition to a food system that is better for people’s health and for the planet
