The deadline for abstract submissions was August 7th.  

To submit an extended abstract paper you must first create a username and password with the extended abstract / paper submission website. Once you establish your user name and password you should re-enter the system. A link will be available on this site by the end of May, allowing you to do this. 

If you are submitting more than one abstract / extended abstract / paper you can use the same login for each submission.

Please note that at least one author must register in full to attend and present the extended abstract / paper at the Conference and that author must not present more than two presentations (either poster or podium).

Extended Abstract / Paper Template

You must use the template that will be emailed once the username and password are create, which is the standard IWA template for the journal Water Science and Technology. The required format for general text is Times New Roman, 12 point, single spacing with justified text. The extended abstract / paper must include an abstract of up to 200 words as an introduction while the minimum number of words for the body of the paper is 500 the maximum number is 5,000. The maximum uploaded file size is 2Mb. You must not alter the template and it must be saved as a .doc file – other formats will be rejected. Please ensure that all images are the correct resolution for printing, i.e. 300dpi.

Paper Publication Post-Conference

Selected papers will be peer reviewed for publication in IWA Publishing’s journals Water Science and Technology, Water Science and Technology: Water Supply, Journal of Water & Climate Change, Journal of Water and Health, Water Policy or Water Practice and Technology. All abstracts will be considered for publication, both oral and poster presentations. Specifications for the formatting of papers are available on the IWAP website at http://iwaponline.com/
