KEYNOTE SPEAKER
VICE ADMIRAL SEAN PYBUS, USN, RET.

Vice Admiral (Retired) Sean Pybus is a Consultant within the Defense and Security sectors of the United States, and President of The Pybus Group, LLC. Serving the military Special Operations community is a point of emphasis for Pybus, after serving in that Force as a Naval Officer and SEAL for 34 years. Interpreting military requirements, informing business strategies, and navigating top levels of customer decision-makers is a sample of his consulting work provided to market-leading companies. The Tampa, Florida area, which hosts two Four-Star military headquarters on MacDill Air Force Base, supports most of his consulting portfolio and also serves as his home. Sean is married to Patty Pacheco Pybus, and they have four grown children.
                                                                     
Benevolent efforts for our military and veteran members and families are important to the Pybus family.  Sean is the Chairman of the Board for The Special Operations Memorial Foundation (SOMF) in Tampa and Chairman of The Navy SEAL Foundation (NSF) headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia.


Sean has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Rochester (NY), 1979, and a Master’s in National Security Studies with Honors from the Naval War College (RI), 1998.  He has extensive overseas experience living and working in South America, Europe, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific.  His final military assignment before retirement was Deputy Commander, US Special Operations Command, in Tampa, as a Vice Admiral, US Navy.
