FUTURE LEADERS

CSCMP Future Leaders Program

Every year, CSCMP invites 60 students in supply chain management disciplines to attend the conference to gain real world experience in the field and provide behind the scenes support during the conference.

This opportunity allows students to connect with peers around the globe and gain education from seasoned professionals.

This success of this program is due, in large part, to CSCMP Roundtable volunteers who manage the vetting process to locate qualified students and guide them through the nomination process. They work closely with universities and institutions to source students who have an interest in supply chain management careers.

Volunteers also manage the onsite facilitation of the program at EDGE, introducing students to CSCMP at an early stage of their careers and developing a strong pipeline of young professionals for the organization.

All Future Leaders must be active CSCMP student members, 21 – 35 years of age. Sponsorships are open to undergraduate and graduate students. Students who are accepted are provided full access to the conference including registration, travel, hotel accommodations, most meals and a $150 stipend.

The CSCMP Future Leaders Program provides students with a rich professional experience throughout their time at the EDGE conference. All students must participate in orientation to assist them in networking, navigating the conference, Career Day, interviewing and benefits of a career in supply chain management.
